Amaresh Ramlugan

Amaresh Ramlugan is an entrepreneur, a trainer and an executive coach. He is currently the CEO of TCA (tca.mu), a leading full service marketing communications agency in Mauritius handling several prominent leading local and multinational brands. A firm believer in entrepreneurship, he set up priSME (prisme.mu), the only agency in Mauritius providing tailored-made marketing solutions for SMEs and start-ups. A passionate food lover and critic, Amaresh founded bonappetit.mu, the first foodie portal of Mauritius. His passion for people and training led him to set up The Corporate Leadership Centre (clcl.mu), a training institution which aspires to play a prominent role in the field of training in the Indian Ocean region and East Africa. As an executive coach, he offers coaching through his coaching practice, The Executive Coaching Company (coaching.co.mu).

Amaresh joined the Rotary in 2001 and served twice as President Rotary Club of Phoenix in the years 2011-12 & 2015-16 respectively. The Club received Gold Presidential Citation in both years. During his terms as President, Amaresh is credited for having spearheaded a number of key projects and initiatives including the setting up of the Rotaract Club of Phoenix as well as setting up of a Thalassemia ward at the Jawaharlall Nehru Hospital with funds raised from the Xmas Tree mega fund-raising project. He also played an instrumental role in putting up the SQUINT project. Both Thalassemia and SQUINT projects have received District Recognition.

Amaresh has also served as District Officer in 2018/19 and as Assistant District Governor during the year 2016-17. He is currently Co-Vice President-Rotary Leadership Institute (Francophone Division) and District Officer PHF.

Amaresh is Charter President of the Rotary Club of Bagatelle, chartered on 23 June 2022.

Anjena Seewooruthun

Charter Member and Director of Foundation.

Anjena is a qualified change specialist with over 15 years of work experience in transformation projects in the African and South East Asia region for private and public entities. As a project leader or change consultant, her primary focus is on the people side of change; it involves preparing, supporting and equipping people to adopt changes using co-creation techniques.

Previously part of the Rotary family as charter member and past president of the Rotaract Club of Phoenix, she joined the Rotary Club of Bagatelle to continue her journey as a Rotarian. Understanding the complexities of shaping and growing a new club, she wants to add value to this journey. She believes in driving sustainable change and is keen to bring her contribution locally and globally through the Rotarian path.
