The project was launched in January 2025 following a request from the National Women Entrepreneurs Council (NWEC) to conduct a training programme for their registered women entrepreneurs.

Discussions were held with the NWEC to assess the training needs of the entrepreneurs and a transformative Leadership Programme was crafted to equip grassroot women entrepreneurs with the tools to grow their business and support their entrepreneurship & leadership journey. The following modules were covered:

• Empowered presence 
• Communications skills
• Negotiation & decision making
• Legal framework
• Marketing incl digital marketing
• Branding & packaging
• Business plans
• Costing & finance

The programme was attended by 54 grassroot women entrepreneurs.

It was conducted one half day per week over a period of 8 weeks and was fully facilitated & sponsored by club members.

The programme will end with an award of certificate ceremony and an expo fair of participants savoir faire.
