Christmas Joy at SNRDC Moka

The Rotary Club of Bagatelle shared a heart-warming Christmas celebration with the children of SNRDC Moka, filled with games, creative activities, and a joyful shared lunch.

A highlight of the day was the donation of a wheelchair, offering greater mobility and comfort to one child, made possible through the Wheelchair for Kids initiative led by the Rotary Club of Port Louis. The surprise visit from Santa Claus brought smiles all around, and a symbolic pebble installation in the garden left a lasting message of hope, unity, and care.

More than a celebration, the day reflected Rotary’s commitment to compassion and the power of small acts to create brighter futures.

Donation of a wheelchair to SENRDC

Our club recently donated a wheelchair to the SENRDC (Special Education Needs Resource and Development Centre) in Moka to be used by one of their students who suffers from muscular dystrophy.

The wheelchair was symbolically remitted by our District Governor Luderce Camalon, in the presence of ADG Hanista Prayag, RC Bagatelle President Harsha Pathak, and fellow club rotarians.
